The NSC Literary Guild publishes a monthly e-newsletter (LSR Monthly) and an annual digital and print publication (Licton Springs Review) featuring visual and literary art from the NSC community (students, staff, faculty, and alumni).  Editors will learn to run all aspects of the LSR publications as well as producing regular literary-focused events.

All Editors share equal positions and collaborate with one another and the Faculty Advisor. While each Editor should expect to contribute to all aspects of operations, they will also be assigned one area of responsibility to facilitate:

  • Monthly Publication Lead – Facilitates selection of artwork, assigning artist interviews, and design/layout of the LSR Monthly (published via MailChimp and campus distribution tools).
  • Annual Publication Lead – Oversee logistics of submission recruitment, tracking, and review, and lead annual design process for Licton Springs Review (Adobe Creative Suite experience very helpful but not required).
  • Events Lead – Produce quarterly artist interview events and the annual publication party, as well as leading efforts to develop additional content.
  • Digital Lead – Coordinate website content and updates and social media marketing.

The position is open to currently registered students and is not a work study.  The rate of pay will be $17.26 per hour for an average of 3-5 hours per week. One-year commitment (Fall through Spring quarters) preferred.  For more information, please contact Faculty Advisor
