The Licton Springs Review and the LSR Monthly accept submissions on an ongoing basis. Qualifying submissions will be considered for both publications, with an annual March 1 cutoff for inclusion in that year’s Licton Springs Review (published in the spring).
LSR Monthly
The LSR Monthly is a subscription-based newsletter with a regular distribution during the academic year. Each issue features one story or essay or collection of poems, several pieces of visual art, and, when available, a link to audio or video recording of work.
• fiction, essays, and poetry (1500 word max, standard word processing formats – no PDFs, please)
• visual art in any medium (JPG format, 300dpi, 25Mb max file size, written description including title and medium/media)
• readings and musical performances (MP3 for audio, MP4 for video, 25Mb max file size, video recording services available by appointment)
Please title your documents the same as the title of the piece. Thank you!
Licton Springs Review
The Licton Springs Review is an annual publication distributed in various epub formats, via our website at lictonspringsreview.com, and via a print-on-demand option. Each issue features a range of fiction, essays, poetry, and visual art.

Submissions are accepted via our online submissions page or at lsr@seattlecolleges.edu. Please note that audio and video file uploads MUST use the submissions page to be considered.
All submitted work will be reviewed for publication, but submission is not a guarantee of publication. Failing to meet submission guidelines or leaving field in the submission form blank may result in your submission not being considered.
